Connect

Connect your wallet to Terminal One in seconds. No account creation, no KYC, no custody handoff. Your private keys never leave your device.

Connect Your Wallet

Select Your Wallet

Terminal One supports all major EVM-compatible wallets. Click your preferred wallet provider to initiate connection.

Supported wallets:

  • MetaMask — Browser extension and mobile app

  • WalletConnect — QR code or deep link (supports 400+ wallets)

  • Coinbase Wallet — Native Coinbase integration

Your wallet handles all transaction signing locally. Terminal One never accesses your private keys.

Confirm Connection

Your wallet will prompt you to approve the connection request. This grants Terminal One permission to:

  • View your wallet address (public information)

  • Request transaction signatures when you trade

  • Display your token balances

What this does NOT do:

  • Grant spending permissions

  • Transfer any funds

  • Access your private keys

  • Execute transactions without your explicit approval

Click "Connect" or "Confirm" in your wallet to proceed.

Your Profile

Every connected wallet receives a unique Trader Profile. This number is your identity on Terminal One.

Your Trader Profile enables:

  • Portfolio tracking — Positions, cost basis, and P&L across chains

  • Trade history — Complete record of all swaps executed through Terminal One

  • Rewards accumulation — Points balance and cashback tracking

  • Leaderboard ranking — Public performance standings

  • Referral system — Earn rewards for bringing new traders

  • Public profile — Shareable performance page

What's Public, What's Private

Public Information (Visible to Everyone)

Your Trader Profile unlocks a public profile displaying:

  • Total trading volume (USD)

  • Number of trades executed

  • Win rate (percentage of profitable trades)

  • Current leaderboard rank

  • P&L performance chart

  • Favorite tokens (most traded)

No personally identifiable information is displayed. Only your wallet address (truncated) and on-chain activity.

Private Information (Only You Can See)

Your private dashboard includes:

  • Current wallet balances across all chains

  • Detailed cost basis calculations

  • Unrealized profit and loss per position

  • Complete transaction history with gas costs

  • Watchlist and saved preferences

  • Pending transactions

Data privacy: Terminal One uses PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure you can only access your own private data. No other users can view your balances or detailed positions.

Trader Profile Benefits

Verifiable On-Chain Reputation

Your Trader Profile and performance are tied to on-chain activity. All trades, volume, and P&L metrics are verifiable through blockchain transaction history.

This means:

  • Performance cannot be faked or manipulated

  • Trade history is permanently recorded

  • Reputation follows your wallet address across sessions

  • Third parties can verify your track record

Competitive Features

Your Trader Profile unlocks competitive and social features:

  • Leaderboards — Rank in the top 100 traders by volume, P&L, or points

  • Weekly competitions — Top 10 finishers earn bonus rewards

  • Referral tracking — See who joined through your link and earn ongoing rewards

  • Social sharing — Share your profile to prove track record

Security & Privacy

What Terminal One Stores

We store:

  • Your wallet address (public, on-chain data)

  • Trade metadata (tokens, amounts, timestamps)

  • Points and rewards history

  • Watchlist preferences

We do NOT store:

  • Private keys (never accessible)

  • Email or personal identity (not required)

  • IP address logs (beyond rate limiting)

  • Biometric or device data

Authentication Model

Terminal One uses Sign-In With Ethereum (EIP-4361) as the sole authentication mechanism.

How it works:

  1. You sign an off-chain message proving wallet ownership

  2. Terminal One issues a signed JWT token

  3. Token is stored as httpOnly cookie (inaccessible to JavaScript)

  4. All API requests include this token for authentication

Security properties:

  • No passwords to manage or leak

  • No email or phone verification required

  • Session tokens cannot be stolen via XSS attacks

  • Wallet signature required for every new session

Supported Networks

Your connected wallet can interact with Terminal One on any of six supported chains:

  • Ethereum Mainnet

  • Polygon

  • Arbitrum

  • Base

  • Avalanche

  • Optimism

Cross-chain execution: You don't need to manually switch networks. Terminal One's routing engine executes trades on the optimal chain automatically.
