How It Works

Terminal One is designed for immediate use. No account creation, no KYC, no custody handoff. Connect your wallet and start trading/engaging with tokenized RWAs across 7 chains.

Getting Started

Connect Your Wallet

Supported wallets:

  • MetaMask (browser extension and mobile)

  • WalletConnect (QR code or deep link — supports 400+ wallets)

  • Coinbase Wallet

Your private keys never leave your wallet. All transaction signing happens locally on your device.

Sign In With Ethereum (SIWE)

After connecting, you sign a gasless, off-chain message proving you own the wallet address. This signature costs nothing and creates a secure session valid for 24 hours.

Discovering Assets

Browse the Markets View

What you see:

  • 55+ tokenized RWAs with live pricing (refreshed every 30 seconds)

  • 24-hour price change, market cap, trading volume, and FDV

  • Real-time search (debounced at 300ms)

  • Multi-column sorting

  • Watchlist toggle directly from the token row

Asset categories:

  • Tokenized Treasuries

  • Private Credit

  • Commodities (Gold, Silver)

  • Real Estate

  • Yield-Bearing Stablecoins

  • Tokenized Equities (ST0x)

  • AI

  • RWA infrastructure

View Token Details

Click any token to see:

  • Live price with real-time update indicator

  • Interactive price chart with five timeframes: 1D, 7D, 30D, 1Y, ALL

  • Volume overlay on the chart

  • Market cap, FDV, circulating supply, total supply, holder count

  • Social links (website, Twitter, Telegram, Discord)

  • Holder distribution: top holders %, dev wallet %, sniper wallet %

  • Recent on-chain trades with amounts and wallet addresses

  • Similar token recommendations

The security panel is critical. Before executing any trade, verify the token contract has contract verification, issuer transparency, reserve metadata, and on-chain risk checks.

Add to Watchlist

Star any token from the markets list or detail page. Your watchlist is stored server-side and persists across devices and sessions.

Executing Your First Trade

Open the Swap Interface

Select tokens:

  • From: Token you are selling (your wallet balance displayed in real-time)

  • To: Token you are buying

Use the Token Picker to search across all 55+ listed assets.

Enter Amount and Set Slippage

Amount: How much you want to trade. Your available balance updates live via Alchemy.

Slippage tolerance: Maximum price movement you will accept. Default setting works for most trades. Adjust higher for low-liquidity tokens.

Request a Quote

Terminal One fetches a live quote from the routing engine. Quotes are never cached — every request pulls fresh liquidity data.

Review the Trade Preview

Before signing, you see:

  • Expected output amount

  • Minimum guaranteed output (after slippage protection)

  • Price impact percentage

  • Estimated gas cost (in ETH and USD)

  • Three-second mandatory review countdown

The preview prevents accidental execution. Use this time to verify the numbers match your expectations.

Approve ERC-20 Token (First Time Only)

If you are selling a token for the first time, your wallet must grant an allowance to the swap contract. Terminal One detects this automatically and prompts you to submit an Approve transaction.

This is a standard Ethereum mechanism. The approval does not transfer funds — it grants permission for the swap contract to move the specified amount when you execute the trade.

Sign the Transaction

Confirm in your wallet. Terminal One does not have access to your private key at any stage. You are signing the transaction locally through your own wallet interface.

Monitor Transaction Status

Terminal One polls for confirmation every 10 seconds. You see:

  • Transaction hash

  • Block number

  • Gas cost

  • Status: Submitted → Pending → Confirmed

Your portfolio updates automatically upon confirmation.

Managing Your Portfolio

Positions View

What you see:

  • Every token in your connected wallet across all supported chains

  • Current balance and USD value (refreshed every 30 seconds via Alchemy)

  • Average cost basis (calculated from trade history using FIFO lot system)

  • Unrealized profit or loss in USD and percentage

  • 24-hour change in value

Portfolio-level statistics:

  • Total portfolio value

  • 24-hour P&L

  • Number of open positions

  • Watchlist count

Trade History

Every trade executed through Terminal One is permanently recorded:

  • Token pair

  • Amounts in and out

  • USD value at execution

  • Gas cost

  • Price impact

  • Slippage

  • Block number

  • Confirmation time

Export functionality available for tax and accounting purposes.

Transaction Tracer

The Tracer module provides deep visibility into all on-chain activity associated with your wallet address — not just trades executed through Terminal One.

You see:

  • Full transaction history with hash, block, gas cost, status, timestamp

  • Detailed transfer breakdowns: which tokens moved, in which direction, in what amounts

  • Transaction lifecycle: Submitted → Pending → Confirmed (or Failed)

  • Direct links to Etherscan for independent verification

Pending transactions poll every 10 seconds. Confirmed transactions are cached to reduce API calls.

Trade rationale: "Bought $5K wtSIVR. Silver exposure with on-chain settlement. Thesis: commodities outperform in current macro."

Questions for issuers: "@Ondo - When does OUSG yield update after Fed rate change? Seeing lag vs comparable instruments."

Strategy sharing: "My RWA allocation: 40% Treasuries, 30% Credit, 20% Commodities, 10% Stables. Rebalancing quarterly based on yield curves."

The best posts: Clear thesis. Real positions. Verifiable execution.

Earning Rewards

How Points Accumulate

You earn points for:

  • Execute any trade: +10 points

  • First trade ever (lifetime): +50 points

  • Daily wallet connection: +5 points

  • Refer a new user: +100 points

  • Finish in weekly top 10 by volume: +500 points

Points formula:

Example: A trade generating $0.40 in fees yields 40 reward points.

Check Your Balance

The Rewards tab displays:

  • Current point balance

  • Point transaction history (immutable ledger)

  • Referral attribution

  • Cashback status

Points Integrity

The points engine uses idempotency keys to guarantee no activity is rewarded twice. A retried trade, re-broadcast transaction, or system restart cannot result in duplicate point awards.

Redeeming Points

The Rewards Catalog displays available redemptions. Offerings expand over time as the platform matures. Check the Rewards tab for current options.
